“ Really good food and service has been our favourite for awhile now.... ”
“ I always rated the Safron as a quality restaurant, but under the new management it seems to have moved to a whole new level! The Chef has added a lot of new dishes to the menu, including some fusion recipes mixing Indian food with Thai/Chinese as well as all of the traditional fare. Our waiter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and made some great recommendations. It was a lovely warm & welcoming atmosphere on the cold winter’s evening we visited. It’s well worth giving this place a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed! ”
“ Fantastic place. Used to be a 'little chef' re-purpossed to become the very best Indian Restaurant in the Dunstable / Markyate area. The staff are friendly, helpful, managed by Jay . The nicest fella you're ever likely to meet. We've been eating here for over 12 years. The food is fabulous and the range, variety of dishes is second to none. The chicken and lamb dishes are exquisite. The kema nan stuffed with mince meat is almost a meal on its own. They will also provide you with a doggy Bag. Nothing beats a curry a day later. Hmm!!! Can definitely recommend the service, food and friendly atmosphere. ”
“ Great food, was really impressed with the flavours. The chilli paneer had a good kick to out but not overpowering and very tasty for a starter. Surprised it was quiet for a Saturday, for how good the food is. Really good value for money - 60 for the two of us dining (drinks, poppadoms, starters, mains, sides, naan) Will definitely return in the near future and will be recommending. ”
“ I love Indian food, my family do to. So we go to this restaurant for Indian curry. It is decorated well, the toilets are nice and clean, the waiters are kind and helpful and most importantly the food was amazing. One of the best Indians I’ve ever had! Thank you for reading Free free to like the review if it was helpful:-) ”
“ We had a delicious meal at Saffron. The starter was particularly good....Gobi Maunchurian, followed by Malaraj butter chicken whcih is the restaurants own special recipe with a nice little kick at the end of eating a succulent piece of chicken. My partner had Morisha which was recommended by front of house and did not fail to deliver as a more flavoursome option to a jalfrazi. The Naan bread was one of the best we’ve had....mushroom pilau rice and onion bhaji all washed down with an ice cold Cobra. This restaurant is also ideally located on the A5 for picking up a takeaway on your way home from work!! ”
“ Absolutely lovely, staff are super friendly, food was amazing, I would highly recommend ”
“ Love this place. Has the best food and possibly the most condiments to come with poppadoms I've ever had in an Indian restaurant. Staff are so lovely too. I'd eat here every week if I could and possibly will. My only bad review would be only rating it the top 5 stars. This place deserves another 5. Magnificent ”
